Women in Aviation Alamo City is thrilled to invite you and your children to participate in Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The event will be held on the campus of Incarnate Word High School and is open to both girls and boys aged 8-18. GIAD aims to inspire the next generation of aviation and aerospace enthusiasts through a day filled with hands-on activities, engaging speakers, and interactive sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity for your children to explore the exciting world of aviation and aerospace, learn from industry professionals, and discover potential career paths.
In addition to the activities for children, WAI-Alamo City Chapter will also host parent sessions that provide valuable information about aviation opportunities for kids in our community. These sessions are designed to help you understand how to support and nurture your child's interest in aviation and aerospace.
